Lake Taneycomo is recognized as a
world class trout fishery. Shepherd of the Hills
hatchery stocks our lake regularly, and is an interesting
place to tour after catching your daily limit. But don't quit fishing when you

for bass, crappie and other species! We caught three 10 pound bass right off our own
docks one day this year!!

Besides the fantastic fishing, we're only a short scenic
drive to Branson, Missouri: The Live Entertainment Capital of the USA! There
is so much to do that you can't begin to see it all in a week or two. Musicians,
Comedians and Magicians delight everyone with elaborate productions in magnificent
theaters. Branson is the home of Silver Dollar City, one of America's finest amusement parks.
Shopping in Branson is so good that tour busses drive here from all over America just
for the shopping. Our next door neighbor is the Empire District Public
Park, and just beyond that is Shadow Rock Park for those wanting to hike and explore wide
open spaces along the headwaters of Bull Shoals Lake. Mark Twain National Forest
surrounds us and delights explorers. Ever visited the world famous Bass Pro Shop in
Springfield and Branson??? Since the longer you stay the lower your rate, why not plan at
